Barry Corbin - Narrator
Before he became the acerbic ex-astronaut on CBS-TV’s “Northern Exposure”, moviegoers saw him starring in such films as “Urban Cowboy”, “War Games”, and “Who’s Harry Crumb?”, “Nothing In Common”, “Ghost Dad”, “Career Opportunities”, “Best Little Whorehouse In Texas”, and “The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia”. His most recent features include “Solo”, “Curled”, and “The Fanatics” starring opposite Ed Asner. On television Barry has starred in “I Know My Name Is Steve”, “LBJ: The Early Years”, “A Death In California”, “The Jesse Owens Story”, “Murder In Texas”, “Fatal Vision”, “Deadly Secrets”, “The Thorn Birds”, and “Lonesome Dove”. Guest appearances on television series include “Hill Street Blues”, “MASH”, “Murder She Wrote”, “Designing Women”, “Ink”, ”Ellen”, “Hiller and Diller”, “The Magnificent 7”, and the Tom Selleck pilot, “The Closer”. He has stared on Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theater in such roles as Henry in “Henry V”, Jud in “Oklahoma”, Falstaff in “The Merry wives of Windsor”, Henry II in “Beckett”, and MacBeth in “MacBeth”. Barry preformed in a one-man show, which he took on the road to varies cities entitled “Charlie Goodnight’s Last Night”, the story about legendary Texas cattleman Charles Goodnight. He won the Buffalo Bill Cody Award for quality family entertainment and the Western Heritage Award from the National Cowboy Hall of Fame for his performance in “Connagher”. He has nominated for the Media Owl Award, the American Television Award, and the Emmy Award for his work in “Northern Exposure”.
